Some of you might have noticed I am working on an update ( rebuild ) of my Keypoint application. Now it is your turn to make a wish list of possible features that should be included in this version of Keypoint."
First of all this update will be free for those who bought the first version of Keypoint and will hit the App Store in about 2 months from now. It will not only be an update but a complete rebuild of the existing app, to make the app faster and more reliable. In this rebuild the app will be partial web-based but running in a cocoa environment.
The new version will include functions such as PDF export, more animations, better performance, updated user interface, etc. Powerpoint export is still in development, I hope to get it right and maybe include it in the 2.0 version.
Of course the app is far from finished and I am still open for feature requests, so feel free to comment this post with your deepest wishes.

thank you, would it be possible to edit the files in a webinterface as well or upload files online and edit them on the iphone?

@Mystrangeworld creating a webinterface shoudn’t be a problem but on your desktop you have Keynote or Powerpoint.

@Mike Keynote import is not going to make it because translating the file from keynote to a database is not possible. Also the lack of documentation from Apple makes it really hard.

Bert,
So here’s a few things that I would love to see, keep in mind I’m very ‘out of the box’ in my thinking (not a programmer)
Image import and possible linkup to another app for image editing (like an export feature from “Photo Forge”)
Ability to record audio and time slides (there is another app that does this) and export to camera roll, youtube, directly link to podcast server
If I could create, record and upload an entire presentation from my iPhone to a podcast for my students (or my students could do it in a classroom) that would have HUGE implications for education.
i’m not so worried about content import (from Keynote or ppt) as the beauty of this app is in content creation!
Hope some of that is useful!
